The Method is how we work. We establish each venue's real status, plan prayer into the day, keep the journey private by default, and set it all down in a written dossier you read before anything is fixed. We report. We do not certify.

Every meal on a journey is named in advance, with its status set down and its basis given. You know where each dinner is, and on what footing, before you leave home, so no evening begins with searching. In Singapore, MUIS is the sole halal certifying authority; we do not certify, we establish each venue's status at the source and disclose it in writing.

The honest part

Where we cannot verify, we say so.

We are a reporting house, not a certifier. In Singapore, MUIS is the sole halal certifying authority, and we certify nothing. For every venue on a journey we establish its real status, name the source, and set it down in writing before you travel.

Where a certificate exists, we record it. Where one does not, we tell you the level of assurance the venue does reach and on what basis, so you can judge for yourself. Nothing is implied that we have not checked.

That disclosure is the point of the document, not a flaw in it. The value we offer is not a badge. It is the certainty of knowing exactly what you are travelling into, before anything is fixed.

How we verify a partner

We work with a trusted circle of destination specialists rather than auditing the world. These are the questions we put to each of them before a single detail is confirmed, and the answers are what goes into your dossier.

How do you verify a restaurant overseas?

We establish each venue's real status at the source: a certificate from a named body where one exists, the ownership and sourcing where it does not, or the preparation we have checked. We record it and disclose it in writing before you travel.

What if a venue cannot be certified?

We say so. We tell you the level of assurance it does reach and on what basis, before you book. The value is honest disclosure, not a claim that everything is certified.

What does 'private by default' mean?

Your own guide, your own vehicle and your own table, with arrivals routed away from crowds and private residences over public floors. Privacy is the baseline, not an upgrade you have to request.

Do you certify halal?

No. In Singapore, MUIS is the sole halal certifying authority. We do not certify anything. We report what we find, name our sources, and disclose what we could not verify.
